Oratis, together with representatives from the Public Service Department (pension services division), conducted a Program of Continuous Medical Social Work Education (CMSWE) at Hospital Serdang on 13 January 2014. The program was sponsored by the Department of Medical Social Work at Hospital Serdang and was attended by over 60 participants including doctors from various specialisations. The briefing was designed to improve on hospital staff’s understanding of the prescription claims reimbursement platform.
On 7 January, Oratis and the Public Service Department (pension services division) were invited by the medical faculty at UiTM Sungai Buloh to deliver a dialogue on the e-MASS system and pharmacy benefits services. The session lasted over 2 hours and discussed issues such as pensioners’ eligibility to obtain medical benefits through e-MASS. Through this session, UiTM had a thorough understanding of the procedures, application approval, payment methods and pensioner eligibility; information that could help pensioners obtain their daily medical needs.
The Department of Medical Social Work at Hospital Kajang sponsored a Briefing on Continuous Medical Education (CME) on 6 December 2013 on premise at Dewan Bistari, Hospital Kajang. The briefing was to aid hospital staff in better understanding the procedures of e-MASS and pharmacy benefits management. The briefing was attended by officers from the Public Service Department (pension services division) with detailed information delivered on hospital eligibility and aimed to make the application process a more efficient one.
